With far less cost and disruption than a full garden redesign, updating planting as a whole or in specific areas, can make a big difference to the look and feel of a garden.

Whether you need planting ideas for a single flowerbed or border, have a problem area where nothing seems to grow, or need a full review of existing planting in your garden and how to freshen it up, I can help you to achieve your gardens full potential.
First I will visit you to review your existing planting and have an in-depth discussion to determine your hopes and aims. I will analyse the soil and local conditions to direct my recommendations.
A full planting plan will be provided, complete with a mood board of all proposed plants and illustrations where helpful to bring the design to life. This allows you to clearly visualise how the updated borders will look once the plants are established, and how the garden will evolve through the seasons.
The planting layout takes into account the look and feel of the garden on completion of the replanting, but also how it will develop over the coming years. This ensures that plants growth rates and sizes are taken into account and avoids problems developing in the future. A full plant schedule (effectively a shopping list) is also provided.
Pricing
Planting plans for individual beds start from £300 for an area of 10m2 or less (so a border that is 10m long and 1m wide for example). I will provide a detailed plan of where each plant should be positioned along with illustrations to show how the planting will look.
For an additional fee I can also source the plants for you from specialist nurseries and lay out the plants in position in the garden, or assist with planting, to ensure that you have the highest quality plants and that they are planted in optimal conditions.
I can also provide a garden maintenance plan with all planting designs detailing how to keep your new plants in top condition enabling you or your gardener to keep the garden looking its best.
