My story

me

After a successful career in business analysis, and a career break to focus on my two sons, garden design is my second career, but one which I feel I have been preparing for for my whole life.

From an early childhood love of pottering about in the garden, enjoying the wonder of growing plants from seeds, to student days wandering around Christ Church meadow, I have always  loved watching the cycle of nature through the year.

With our increasingly busy lives I think the sanctuary of a garden space can be invaluable to our wellbeing. This need not involve enormous cost or work, in fact I believe it is the knowledge gap which puts many people off gardening. My aim is to support you to get the most out of your garden whether that is through a complete redesign or through advice and refreshed planting.

I have a Diploma in Garden Design from the prestigious KLC School of Design which I passed with Distinction as well as winning the Hampton Court Palace Award for Plants and Planting.

During the Diploma course I also gained experience working in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace as well as being part of the planting team at the Chelsea Flower Show.

I am based in Walton-on-Thames and currently provide Garden Design services locally and throughout Esher, Cobham, Weybridge and further into the wider Surrey and South East area.
